South end paving completed, but Trail closed

The 4 km stretch of Rail Trail from S. Slocan to Crescent Valley has now been mostly completed as of Friday afternoon. The Rail Trail in this area will remained closed for the weekend to allow the asphalt surface to harden properly. Next week, temporary barriers will be installed (relax, there’ll still be room for cyclists to get by) along the Trail and permanent ones will be coming in the weeks ahead.
