Dot Day returns Sat. April 8th to Slocan Valley

This year, because of the growing amount of equipment we need to service the Rail Trail, we’re hoping to begin construction of a second “Station House” in the Lower Slocan Valley, like the one we currently have in Winlaw. We are already a third of the way to our goal to begin construction, but need your support to help make the station house a reality.
If you’re a resident of the Slocan Valley, you are invited to participate in “Dot Day”. This event sees the Columbia Basin Trust putting forward funds through the Community Iniatiatives Program, which the community then decides how best to use. Over the years, the support we have received from “Dot Day” has allowed our volunteers to achieve many things to make the Rail Trail such an integral part of our community.
Please take a few minutes to come to the Winlaw Hall on Sat. April 8th between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. and learn about some of the great ideas being put forward in our community. You’ll be given four “dots”, which you can put on the proposal(s) you find most worthy. We hope you’ll give us consideration when you do.
