Our resurfacing program will be resuming in the first week of June. We will be focusing on the north end of the Trail this year, primarily between Gravel Pit Rd in Slocan and Lemon Creek. The smaller aggregate we use is specifically made for surfaces like ours. We know from past experience, that the tread surface material can take a couple of years to settle in. We have heard some concerns about the roughness of what we did last year, and we’re pleased to let you know we are planning to recompact some of those sections of the Trail to help speed up the cycle and make for a smoother ride.
Funding for this project has been made possible by the Columbia Basin Trust, Trans Canada Trail and Community Gaming Grant
The Trail should remain open while the work is underway. Please watch for signs and check this page for updates. Thanks for your patience and understanding
