Cedar Creek Cafe, Winlaw BC  
   

     Cedar Creek Café is a licensed restaurant and bakery in Winlaw BC, serving fresh local and organic fare. Our menu spans from Angus New York striploin steaks to burgers, organic tempeh rice bowls, salads and authentic French Canadian classic: Poutine. We have Nelson Brewing Company organic ales on tap. In the summer, the Café is open 8am-9pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and in the Winter from 11am-9pm for lunch and dinner. Live music is featured 2-3 nights a week, year ‘round. Frog Peak Café  
   

The Frog Peak Café can be found in the oldest remaining heritage building in the Slocan Valley. Built originally by George Borgeios in 1896 the Frog Peak Café was restored by its owners Matthew Theoret and Laurel Glasson in 2003. The café offers a great selection of paninis, soups and salads as well as savoury treats and specialy coffees and has a great outdoor patio for seasonal use as well as a play area for young children. We're located in the south end of the Slocan Valley at km 2 of the historic Slocan Valley Rail Trail.
So whether you're skiing, cycling or walking, we're here to help make your adventure more enjoyable. Open Tuesday to Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

From a menu which includes wraps, sandwiches, soups, evening meals as well as speciality drinks; to a glass-enclosed dining area that transforms into a garden in the summer months, this unique coffee shop/cafe is open every day of the week and is a feast for the senses. Located on the edge of Winlaw, we feature local music as well as hosting traveling performers. In the winter the large skating rink behind the restaurant makes for an ideal Canadian winter experience. In the summer music events take place in our outdoor patio - complete with a stunning view of the Slocan Valley.
